Got married!!

I just got married!!!!!

I just got back from San Diego Country Administration Center.

We just did quick ceremony and got married. 

I had no idea how easy to get married before I experienced....

We are not sure when our actual wedding and party is, probably next year.

We are so happy!!!!

As I browsing through one of my favorite websites, Babble.com, I found this article...
Foods to Avoid While Pregnant. (I am really obsessed with getting pregnant, I am not???)

This article lists some foods that pregnant women should avoid...
I was surprised how much foods I should avoid....(well, I am not pregnant...yet, but you know, it's better to prepare early, right?)

I knew we shouldn't eat raw fish when we're pregnant, but I didn't know we should avoid some vegetable too!! I love broccoli and radish!

We, Japanese, use radish (daikon radish) a lot in Japanese food....
And packaged salad??? I like "spring mix" salad package.. I shouldn't eat it?
I can eat it if I wash them really good... right???

I don't know... if these lists are really bad for pregnant women...
Because Japanese eat sushi even though they are pregnant, I've never heard of veggies that should not be eaten.

Being pregnant is more difficult than I thought.
But I'd still love to get pregnant!!! 

Sunday Brunch~~

Peanuts  Butter and Nutella French Toast with Fresh Strawberries.

For some reason, as I woke up this morning, I craved french toast so bad.

Even though my fiance ate cereal quick for his breakfast because he was busy moving some stuff from a self storage to our garage, I took a time to make this french toast using my favorite Nutella for only myself...

Recipe is simple,

Just spread peanuts butter and nutella on one side and sandwich with another bread. 

Soak it into milk and egg mixture, and cook on a pan. 

And sprinkle some cinnamon and fresh strawberries that my mother in law bought from a farmer's market. 

That's it!!

The french toast's sweetness and strawberries' sweetness and acidity make this dish great, and a little bit of spiciness from cinnamon...love it!!! 

It was a great waking-me-up dish for Sunday morning~~

Sunday, my friends and I played volleyball in a tournament in LA.
It had been a while since we played it last time.

This is a pic of a tournament in 2009... 

We played 4 matches from 9 am to 5 pm.
I love playing volleyball in a tournament, because we get to play it competitively.
But what sucks about is that since we live in San Diego, we have to leave SD early morning, around 6:30
to get to LA.....
And we have to drive down to San Diego for 2 hours after playing all day.
That is quite exhausting.
But what great about it is that we get to eat great food in LA!!
Every time we go to LA for a tournament, we go to a restaurant after the games.
This time, we went to Chinese restaurant, which was so good!!

It's been 2 days since we played, but I'm still sore... my whole body is aching (>o<)!!
I bet I was walking like a robot at a restaurant as I worked today.....lol
I hope it will get better soon...

How casual it is....

This is my fiance.

                             He is a software tester at a healthy insurance company. 

                             I guess software department is pretty casual. 

                             The place he worked before was casual too. 

                             He even sometimes wears sandals... 

                             I would never thought you could wear shorts and sandals in a work place. 

                             Japaneses always wear suits. You have to be business like all the time. 

                             Even though it is so hot outside. They wear suits.

                             I like this culture. 

                             It doesn't matter how you wear as long as you do your job. 

                             Love it!

I got my New Screen!!

You are probably thinking who would still be using this HUGE screen!?
Yes, I've used it for almost 2 years since my fiance let me use it.

But, I felt like I didn't have enough room for making jewelry with this HUGE screen on my work desk....
So, I decided to buy new flat screen.

Ta-da!!

I love it so much!!!!!

I was surprised how cheap the screens were... mine was around $140.

Weird Dream.....

I had a weird dream last night.

It was about me having morning sickness.....lol
Maybe because I saw my friend little girl last night, and my fiance and I just started trying to conceive a baby.
Not we are really trying to do so checking my temperature or find THE DAY...

Get back to my dream,
In the dream, I got so hungry.
And after a while, I got so sick and nauseated.
I didn't know why....
After I realized that I was having morning sickness, I was jumping for joy in my head...lol
And I remembered my pregnant friend told me that it got better if she ate something when she got hungry and sick.
But I didn't want to eat anything because I didn't want to gain unnecessary weight...
So I was trying to putting up with this morning sickness....

Then I woke up.
That was a really wired dream....

I hope this dream comes true~~~
